After hearing horrorstories from my mother and friends about root
canals, I feel like a million dollars!~ Dr. Harker was so
professional I am smiling with no pain and with no regret. Moreover,
with no pain. 8 hours after my root canal I had 3 slices of pizza and
ate without pain...today -1 day later I have no pain and I have no
discomfort... I am amazed =I am fair and red head and I feel pain more
than most folks. I have zero swelling and I am able to chew and this
was/is 12/24 hours after my canal.

I'm glad your experience with Dr. Harker went so well. However, it might
surprise you to know that he's no miracle-worker. Any competent dentist
should be able to do almost all root canals painlessly. Some patients (and
their nerves) are almost impossible to anesthetize adequately, especially in
an inflamed tooth.
Root canals (and dentistry in general) have gotten a bad rap, as far as pain
is concerned. It has changed drastically in the past 20 years, with better
anesthetic agents.
Perhaps you can thank your maker for going easy on you in this department.
