Question:
Am I the only one who thinks the new Dental Program for Military retirees
is to expensive at $75 a month per family?
Does anyone know of a better deal out there?
Answer:
I have never found a dental plan that you would come out winner
normally. The retiree first basic plan stinks in my opinion I have
looked at the upgrade but its not for me.
I agree that it is too expensive. However, in the past year I have received
more benefit payments than I have paid in premiums. It only amounts to a
couple hundred bucks or so, but it does save me a little. Since every little
bit helps I'm sticking with it for now. Anytime I can get more than I pay out,
I figure I'm ahead of the game, especially when our benevolent government is
concerned.
I just hate the thought of paying over $800 a year for Dental care .. It is
bad enough we will pay $460 a year for Tricare Prime.
